Love the Vegas (not really)

Blizzard took everyone to Vegas last weekend for a wrap party, including wives, and we.were.EXCITED!!! SO excited that...it was a big let down. Too many expectations, ya know? Mostly I think we forgot that Vegas is full of everything we hate: obnoxious people, naked people, drunk people...walking. Although we did have fun with Blizzard friends - we do like them.

After a night of "why did we think we liked it here?" and a long amazing bath while watching TV (READ: TV IN THE BATHROOM!!) the next day redeemed Vegas for us and we had a fun time with our pals the Murphys. We don't get a lot of time with them without kidlings around, which is of course more than fine by us, but it was just a special lil' treat to be able to spend the weekend with them! We went to a Hypnotist show, a magician, then did a little shopping and a lot of eating.

I went to bed early (ok, I wanted to take another bath) since my flight was early the next morning, so Ryan went to the wrap party with friends and I watched 1 1/2 movies during a Sarah Jessica Parker marathon on TBS. I couldn't look away. Thheen I woke up at 5:00am spent 5 hours at the airport for a cancelled flight rode back on the bus with everyone and missed a day of work THE END! The Vine video of my boss telling me I was fired made up for it, because I'm overly sentimental like that. (Disclaimer: I did not get fired. All is well.)

Thanks, Blizzard!! Can't wait for next year when all we will remember is the fun parts and decide to go again.
